Products labeled 'Natural or Organic' come with no guarantees unless an independent body certifies them because using and marketing these terms is unregulated. Many consumers wrongly assume these 'Natural and Organic' products contain ingredients that are minimally processed and that they don't contain toxic chemicals or artificial fragrances. But unfortunately, due to the lack of regulation within the beauty industry, manufacturers can misleadingly label their products as 'organic' or 'natural' even though they contain processed, toxic, and chemically enhanced ingredients.

Therefore, it's essential to always look for a trusted certified organic logo to ensure you are indeed receiving a certified organic product you and your family can trust—anything else is "greenwashing".

At Doglyness, we've chosen ECOGEA for the certification of our products. ECOGEA is the institute for the quality and innovation of natural and organic products and sets a high standard when it comes to defining what natural and organic means. To pass the ECOGEA STANDARD, the product must go through a complete collection of strict rules for the certification of natural and organic cosmetics, cleansing products, and fragrances. The product must comply with all criteria of the standard. The verification of whether the products comply with the ECOGEA criteria or not is made in a two-phase certification process, which includes a detailed check of ingredients and production audit. Each certificate has to be renewed every two years with possible un-announced inspections during this time. Consumers can be assured that products with the ECOGEA logo are worthy of that name.
